For its publications, the Club selects material relevant to its members' interests and strives to present it in appropriate and beautiful form. Three titles are planned each year, in limited editions, which are initially offered exclusively to members. Purchase is optional, and all first orders are filled before additional copy orders. The Club's publications are created by the foremost fine printers of the West.

CHARLES AND KATHLEEN NORRIS: THE COURTSHIP YEAR.
Designed and printed on Mohawk Superfine paper by W. Thomas Taylor, 1993.

The edition of 400 was bound by Custom Bookbinders of Austin, Texas, in full Japanese cloth. Illustrated.

Charles Norris and his fiancée, Kathleen Thompson, exchanged daily letters during one year of their engagement, and Richard Allan Davison, noted Norris authority, has edited and arranged them to form a touching story. The Norrises were to become one of the most acclaimed literary couples of the era, but during the year he ventured to New York while she remained in San Francisco, they coped with a variety of practical problems--as well as with a difficult separation.

KEEPSAKE SERIES

Each year The Club issues and distributes, without additional charge to members, a series of keepsakes. The series of leaflets (usually twelve), illustrated monographs on various aspects of Western history and literature, has a different theme each year. The texts of the keepsakes are written by authorities on their diverse subjects and are printed by leading fine presses.

Members may purchase extra copies of Keepsakes or News-Letters, when available.
