The Book Club of California Library holds a wealth of material devoted to all major facets of the history of the book, including milestones of printing history, book design, illustration, and binding. The second in a series of keepsakes devoted to the Book Club Library treasures, including: The Art of Graveing and Etching (London, 1662); Albrecht Durer Christlich-Mythologische Handzeichnungen (Munich, ca. 1808); The Anatomy of Sleep (London, 1842); and The Historie of Don-Quixote (London, 1927-1928). Introduction by Gary F. Kurutz.

10” x 8”. 13 folded sheets. The Annual Keepsake for the year 2000 featuring twelve treasures of The Book Club of California Library was written by Barbara Jane Land, who also prepared the first part issued in 1997. Designed and produced for members of the Book Club by Jonathan Clark at The Artichoke Press in Mountain View, California.
