Past Programs

Free and open to the public Book Club programs range from lectures on the book arts, to profiles of artists, intellectuals, and scholars, often focusing on the history and literature of California and the West.

The Book Club of California hosts programs and special member events like field trips year-round in San Francisco and Southern California.

Exhibitions offer unique and intimate perspectives on book-related subjects, regularly expanding on the Book Club’s programs and collections.
